Hybrids
If you're looking for a sedan, we'd recommend the Elantra Hybrid or the Sonata Hybrid. The Elantra is the smaller one, so it'll appeal to Towner, ND families with more limited budgets. In addition to having more interior space, the Sonata is more powerful. If you like the idea of a compact car getting you around Velva but want some versatility to your cabin, consider the Ioniq hatchback. It has a more spacious cargo area and can earn up to 60 miles per gallon on the highway.
Those of you who prefer SUVs will want to think about the Tucson Hybrid or the Santa Fe Hybrid. These both have a net horsepower of 226 and come standard with all-wheel drive. These SUVs are pretty similar to each other in terms of their technology and safety features, but the Santa Fe is slightly larger.
Plug-In Hybrids
Plug-in hybrids are desirable because they can run exclusively on electric power alone for limited amounts of time. Because of this, people who commute relatively short distances each day will find that their gas tank can last for a long time. It's easy to charge plug-in hybrids, and you can do so at home or a public charging station. The three versions that Hyundai makes are the Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid, the Tucson Plug-In Hybrid, and the Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid.
